April 8 - 9, 2015
What This Course is AboutIn the complex world of policy development and delivery, the devil awaits you in the details. Good policy advice recognizes that implementation is not a separate exercise, but one that has to affect policy formulation right from the beginning. This workshop will help participants think through:
Driven by Real ExperienceThe learning format will be driven by real cases from within the Ontario policy memory bank – case studies that have been developed over the past three years. Practitioners will bring their perspective to these cases. Throughout participants, working through the cases and through each other, will build leading practice ideas to apply in their own environment.
Who Should Attend Policy professionals and others who work in a policy field that is heavily regulated and those who want to understand legislative and regulatory change as a policy tool. Andrew Graham, Adjunct Professor, School of Policy Studies, Queen’s University Nancy Austin, Executive Lead, Wage Gap Strategy, Ministry of Labour Daily Schedule |
